Electronic Cigarette – Alternative to Smoking

Do you smoke? Do you hate buying cigarette prices going up every couple of months? Do hate bad smell coming out of your mouth, or coughing? If you do I got an alternative for you – electronic cigarette (e-cig.). It an ingenious idea to substitute normal cigs. E-cig consists of three parts – battery, atomizer and a filter. You are smoking liquid form of nicotine which has which has no taste or smell. I’ve been smoking E-cig for about a year now and I can personally guarantee that you don’t want a real thing anymore. It’s a great product – smoke it whenever and where ever you want. It is not affected by a smoking ban so you can enjoy it anywhere you like. Some places are still trying to stop you from smoking though. I’ve tried to smoke in a plane while I was travelling once, a flight attendant rushed to my seat when she saw smoke coming. She didn’t look happy about me smoking but i explained her and dismantled my E-cig to show her that I am not breaking any rules. After that she just smiled and asked me where could she get one of these. As I mentioned this device consists of three parts:

1. Battery

Batteries come in various shapes and sizes. They are the biggest part of the device. Is is the working part of your cigarette as it vapours the nicotine by converting air into a vapour. As all batteries they run out, but they are rechargeable. From what I noticed a regular e-cig battery lifespan is about 3 months before you need to buy a new one.

2. Atomizer

This is a working part of the E-cig that burns the liquid nicotine and turns it into a vapour. It has a little spiral inside of it and when you inhale it becomes hot and heats up the liquid.

3. Filter

There are two types of filters: prefilled and refillable. Basically it is the same filter, the difference is that one prefilled filter comes with liquid nicotine already and empty filter is empty (obviously). Both filters have cotton-like material that holds liquid nicotine in them. I personally buy empty filters and a bottle of liquid nicotine. 30ml bottle lasts about 2 months and costs around £20. which really cheap comparing to a pack of cigarettes every day which now costs 1/4 the price of the bottle of liquid nicotine. As all parts of device filters need changing. I find that the best lifespan for a filter is about a week.

After smoking it for three weeks I tried normal cigarette and it made me sick. It felt like I was smoking normal cigarette for the first time, I started coughing, got out of breath, if you smoke or tried smoking you know what I am talking about.
